Meet the Team
With an early background in IT as a network engineer, Mitch made a career change in 2004 and started as a sprinkler fitter. He then pursued a sprinkler fitting apprenticeship, gaining Level 3 and 4 fixed fire protection, before spending many more years in the industry across all facets of the trade. In more recent years, Mitch has worked as a project manager before becoming a contracts manager. He has also been a successful estimator and designer.
In addition to his industry experience, Mitch has also spent time in a technical sales role working for an industry-leading worldwide manufacturer of sprinklers, sprinkler valves, and fittings. This has given him exposure to different sprinkler system installation methods in many countries, companies, and regions.Outside of work, Mitch enjoys keeping fit with a keen interest in triathlon and mountain biking. Just completing Ironman NZ in Taupo Mitch is now staying fit while looking for the next big challenge.

Josef brings over 7 years of experience in fire protection design. He has extensive experience with 3D modelling and coordination using Revit, BIM360 & Revizto platforms. While Josef is our in-house BIM Manager he also works on his own design projects. He provides assistance and training to the team, maintains templates and project coordination. In his spare time Josef enjoys some board sports such as surfing and snowboarding.
Laura is a mechanical engineer with experience in Revit modelling MEP services. She is also a meticulous worker who is passionate about delivering accurate and precise designs to our clients. Highly skilled in using Revit, she quickly adapted her skills over to model fire protection.
Laura has worked in the mechanical teams at Beca and most recently WSP consultants. She is always looking for ways to streamline our design processes and improve our workflow.
We are also assisting Laura to study a diploma of fire engineering through the Open Polytechnic of NZ while she works.
